COLLECTIONS
Description:
The UNM University Libraries’ collections include publications,
government documents, maps, and journal databases documenting
Route 66, end to end. The Center for Southwest Research (CSWR)
collections within Zimmerman Library provide many avenues for
researching New Mexico’s portion of Route 66. These collections
document the communities and businesses along the way from Tucumcari
to Gallup, as well as the themes of tourism, trade, and transportation
in the historic land of el Camino Real and the Santa Fe Trail.
CSWR collections include photographs, oral histories, personal
papers, business records, architectural archives, and many other
