| The 320 West Oakdale Avenue building is eligible for listing in the National Register of Historic Places under Criterion C for architecture as a good local example of mid-20th century Modem architecture in a Chicago residential high-rise building. The twenty-one story, lakefront luxury Modem apartment building was part of the tall apartment building boom that occurred in Chicago during the 1950s and 1960s. The period of significance for the building, which was designed by Milton M. Schwartz, is 1954, the year it was built. |
