Graceland (Home of Elvis Presley), TN: Elvis Presley is widely regarded as one of the most culturally influential figures of the twentieth century. Twenty-seven years after his death, he is still known throughout the world by his first name alone. Elvis Presley is the only artist to be inducted into three music halls of fame: Rock and Roll, Gospel, and Country. Graceland, Elvis Presley's beloved home for more than 20 years, has been so directly associated with him since its purchase in 1957 that Elvis and Graceland are synonymous.
