Juliette Gordon Low Historic District, GA: The Juliet Gordon Low Historic District is nationally significant because all properties in the district are associated with the origins of the Girl Scouts of America. Low grew up in the Birthplace, lived as an adult in the Andrew Low House, and held the first meeting of the Girl Scouts in the Carriage House. Much of Low's work promoting the Girl Scouts was done from the Andrew Low House.
