State Reports from Notices of
Inventory Completion
Overview
The reports
have been created as an additional resource for tribes and museums.
Provenience
and tribal affiliation was pulled from all published Notices of Inventory
Completion. The information for each notice was sorted first
by state and then by
county
and site.
How to use the tables
Notices that
include more than one site or that affiliate to more than one tribe will be
listed more
than once. For instance, if a notice
includes two sites and the human
remains
were affiliated to two tribes, the notice will appear four times in the table.
Included in
the tables are publication dates, notice IDs, and the museum or agency
in
control at the time of publication.
The data
can be resorted by any column you choose.
From the drop down Table
menu,
select “Table.” Return to the Table menu
and choose “Sort.” In the pop up
window, choose
the column or columns to sort by. Click “OK.”
You will be
able to find the notices in our online Notices of Inventory Completion library
by
searching on the ID numbers or by scrolling to find the publication dates.
