Archeology at Wilson’s Creek National
Battlefield and Pea Ridge National Military
Park has benefited greatly from the cooperation
and support of both parks’ management
and staff. Hundreds
of volunteers collectively donated over 5000
hours of service from 2001 to 2003, helping
with metal detector and geophysical survey,
as well as laboratory work. It is thanks to
them that systematic investigations of such
large scale were even possible.
