Buffalo National River 2009
On March 20, 2009, the Midwest Region research
team conducted the prescribed fire experiments
at Buffalo National River (BUFF), Arkansas. Fire
research at BUFF contributed information about
woodland burning conditions within the Ozark Highlands.
Both prehistoric and historic archeological resources
were included in the prescribed burn at BUFF.(PDF
