Little Bighorn Battlefield National Monument 2005 

The Center conducted geophysical investigations in the parking lot area at the Reno-Benteen defensive site at Little Bighorn Battlefield National Monument in Montana. The geophysical investigations are part of the compliance related archeological investigations of the access road and parking lot expansion project proposed by the park. The present geophysical investigations consisted of the magnetic gradient, conductivity, and ground penetrating radar surveys of the area surrounding the parking lot and access road.
