Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore 2005

The 2005 investigations at Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore involved inventory and testing at several house tracts and along roads scheduled for removal. MWAC Archeologist Jay Sturdevant and Archeological Technician Harold Roeker worked with Volunteers In Parks (V.I.P.s) and park staff for five weeks during May and June. Volunteers Maureen Mahoney, Nadine Johnson, and Arthur Geary made invaluable contributions to the 2005 project and their help was greatly appreciated. A special thanks is extended to all the INDU staff who took the time to work with us in the field and who made our stay enjoyable.
