Beaver Crossing 2005

The Center is providing technical assistance to the Department of Anthropology, University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Geophysical survey is in advance of the university holding its summer field school at the Overland trail site in southeastern Nebraska. The settlement at Beaver Crossing provided services to travelers on the Oregon and California Trails. Magnetic gradient, conductivity, resistance, and ground penetrating radar surveys were conducted at the site.
