HAER Maritime Documentation Internship
The Historic American
Engineering Record (HAER) and the Council
of American Maritime Museums (CAMM) are pleased to
announce the HAER Maritime Documentation Internship. The
internship permits a student or recent graduate of architecture or history, interested in maritime preservation, to work
as a summer intern on a HAER maritime documentation project. The Internship will require research and writing or measuring and drafting of historic maritime resources.
AWARD STIPEND
The selected recipient will receive a stipend of approximately
$7,000 and will work with a HAER team for 12 weeks during
the summer. The HAER Maritime Intern will be selected
by a committee composed of representatives of CAMM and
HAER.
METHOD OF APPLICATION
Applicants MUST submit a
- resume (Social Security Number is required)
- work samples, samples should include research papers and/or measured drawings
- letter of recommendation from a faculty member or employer
