Appendix II: Postcranial Dimensions

Appendix 2 is comprised of 2 tables designed to summarize post cranial dimensions data. The first table is comprised of 4 columns and 86 rows. From left to right the column headers read Element, Measurement, Right, and Left. The 86 rows are divided into a number of sub-sections in the first column. These are: Clavicle, Scapula, Humerus, Radius, Ulna, Sacrum, Os Coxa, Femur, Tibia, Fibula, Calcaneus, Talus, Metatarsal 1, Metatarsal 2, Metatarsal 3, Metatarsal 4, Metatarsal 5, Metacarpal 1, Metacarpal 2, Metacarpal 3, Metacarpal 4, Metacarpal 5. The rows in each sub-section are comprised of varying types of information detailing postcranial dimensions corresponding to the column headers listed above.

The second table that makes up Appendix 2 is comprised of 4 columns and 24 rows. From left to right the column headers read Vertebra Number, Body Height, Body ML Width, and Body AP Length. The 24 rows provide information corresponding to the column headers listed above for each vertebra.

The significance of the Appendix 2 is to document varying skeletal samples from the "Kennewick Man" skeleton. For a more contextualized discussion of Appendix 2 refer back to the text.
